Our veteran housing campuses are designed to go far beyond basic housing. We are committed to creating a supportive and empowering environment that connects residents to the full range of resources available to them.
Outreach for Veterans’ Benefits and Services
Each campus will include a dedicated Veterans Service Office and trained staff who assist residents in accessing critical benefits and services, including:
- VA healthcare enrollment and appointments
- Disability compensation claims and appeals
- Housing and educational benefits
- Mental health services and peer support
By maintaining close working relationships with local VA centers, veteran service organizations, and community nonprofits, we ensure that veterans living on campus are never isolated from the help they’ve earned.
Transportation Access for Essential Services
We recognize that reliable transportation can be a barrier to accessing care, education, and employment. Our development plan includes a campus-based transportation service that will:
- Provide regular shuttle service to VA hospitals and clinics
- Offer scheduled rides to educational institutions, training programs, and job interviews
- Support access to grocery stores, pharmacies, and essential errands
This service is especially vital for senior and disabled veterans, ensuring all residents retain independence and mobility.
Workforce Training and Agency Partnerships
In partnership with local state and federal agencies, workforce development boards, educational institutions, and veteran employment initiatives, veterans have access to our Counseling Education and Entrepreneurship (CEE) programs including:
- Career counseling and job placement services
- On-site or remote workforce training programs
- Resume building and interview preparation workshops
- Certification, training and career development opportunities
Our goal is to help every resident not only find stability but also achieve long-term personal and professional success. By creating these pathways on campus and building bridges to external opportunities, we are helping veterans rediscover their purpose and potential.
“More than housing – this is a launchpad for a better future.”
